This coming Thursday, July 1 at 7pm, Jason Sweeney will conduct a survival at sea seminar at the club.  All members and guests are welcome to come.  For those of you who do not know Jason, he is a scallop boat captain out of Barnegat Light and has decades of experience on the water and is well trained in water survival techniques.

Jason will cover survival techniques including:

• Philosophy of Survival
• Crew Training and Preparation
• Survival Phase Development
• USCG Lifesaving Equipment used during Abandonment (including survival suits)
• Surviving after Abandonment
• Emergency Signaling Devices

If you will are available this Thursday at 7pm, please come to the club and attend this important seminar.  I will send out an invitation shortly.  Please RSVP if you plan to attend so that we have a rough estimate as to how many people will attend.  Jason will try to schedule a second seminar later in the summer if his schedule allows.
